Fotografiska New York was the New York outpost of the international contemporary photography museum, presenting rotating exhibitions, live programming, and late-night cultural experiences that blurred the line between museum, social space, and creative forum. I oversaw the tone, visual direction, and content strategy across all touchpoints—from exhibitions and programming to social and editorial—shaping how every moment was shot, framed, and communicated. Working closely with curators, artists, and creatives, I translated curatorial rigor into a cohesive, digital-first narrative, extending Fotografiska’s cultural presence beyond the gallery walls and into a living, shareable ecosystem.

Role: Creative Strategy + Art Direction | Tone + Visual Direction · Event Capture · Rollout · Copywriting

ExhibitionsOversaw visual direction and content production for rotating exhibitions, shaping how artists’ work was translated for digital and social platforms. Developed exhibition-led storytelling that extended the life of each show—capturing installation views, details, and context to bridge physical exhibitions with online discovery. Ensured all content upheld the institution’s editorial and curatorial standards while remaining culturally fluent and platform-native.

Programming
Directed content around live programming, talks, performances, and special events—framing Fotografiska as an active cultural forum rather than a static museum. Led on-site capture and post-production to create social-first narratives that highlighted conversation, community, and lived experience, expanding audience engagement beyond attendees in the room.
Social Promotion
Exhibition · Press
Led social content strategy and execution to promote exhibitions, programming, and institutional initiatives across platforms. Commissioned and directed creatives to produce original, social-first content aligned with Fotografiska’s visual identity and editorial POV. Built a consistent publishing rhythm that balanced promotion with cultural storytelling—driving awareness, engagement, and sustained relevance.
